I strongly feel that you have come to the right place. I love MFP. It is simple and easy. All you have to do is be honest on your number's, food and be moble. Even if it is something simple. Have you had your thyroid checked? If it is fine I would say join us and enjoy the ride. You are more then welcome to friend me. Most of the time I have an idea what my food will be for the day. I am not one to eat breakfast so I have a smaller breakfast and only allow myself so many calories and fats. I do the same for lunch and since I seem to want to eat more at dinner and snack with my hubby in the eve. This works best for me. I do try to make all meals healthy including my snack.

When it comes down to it, if you stick to this site on a daily basis and keep using the food and excercise trackers for the long term, you'll have success. (Assuming there isn't an underlying medical condition that will give you trouble) Just stick to the numbers and keep losing that fraction of a pound per day and, while you won't be astonishing people in six months like they do on Biggest Loser, you'll probably have people pretty impressed in two years.

    Feel free to add me.

I would like to friend you and hopefully together we can do this. I have the problem of having a husband that is newly retired and has jsut had his hip replaced and sits all day, when he isn't doing the household work. Yes he does do that so I really can't complain but when he goes to the store he buys treats like drumstick ice cream bars and after dinner says "Do you want dessert?" I say well of course since if I don't help him eat them he will eat them all.
I really can't blame my weight on him, though it is easier to, I have no willpower! Start good then seem to drop off. Maybe we can help each other!
