Is it unhealthy to eat nearly a full bag of fruit and nuts?

No, but depending on the size of the bag it could be pretty high-calorie. I feel your pain though. Dried fruit and nuts is/was a major binge food for me. I only buy tiny 'snack size' packages of it now.0

You're asking the wrong question. The right question to ask is "Is eating a bag of fruit and nuts going to help me achieve my goals?"
The answer depends on what your goals are (also also on how big the bag was - 50g or 250g?):
If you are trying to gain weight, then it could be beneficial in helping you reach your macronutrient and calorie goals.
If you are trying to lose weight then it may not be beneficial in helping you reach your goals. Most (dried) fruit and nuts are high in calories.

Nuts (especially certain ones) are good for you in moderation, but tend to be calorie dense. I don't know if I'd eat a whole bag. I tend to portion my nuts out into bags and keep them that way.
As for fruit.... Dried fruit has a lot of sugar. I

I know they were high calorie, someone said to me though they are good for you and just following calories you may not eat the correct food but I was craving cakes so I suppose perhaps that was moee of a healthier options?0
