Need some songs to get hyped to lift.

Feeling really apathetic right now. Trying to hype myself up with music to go out into the garage and lift. Somebody give me some good "hype up" songs. One contingency: No Pitbull. Metal, Hip-Hop, Electronica, Alternative, Classic Rock, and so on all good.

Try rap. Seriously. I know you said no. But.

    Love rap for lifting.

    can't stand it elsewhere.

DMX - Where the hood at should do it.
And Throw it Up by Lil Jon.

I said Hip-Hop was fine. I like both of those artists. Despite the former's barking. lol

Metal: I'm on a Symphonic Metal kick right now. You get orchestral/choir arrangements that make you feel like a hero in some epic movie, and you also get the chugging riffs and pounding drums that metal is known for in gym dungeons the world over.

Try "Unleashed" or "Deconstruct" by Epica. Anything by Nightwish.

Ah, i thought that was a comma, not a period! :)

Lil Jon's Throw It Up is pretty much my PR song. I know he's talking about throwing signs, but it works as well if you reframe it to throwing up iron.
    That and Static-X Push It.

I went through a period where rammstein was my go to. Now I just throw it on slacker radio. NIN is always good, along with soundgarden.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. They helped get me into the garage, throw around some iron, and stretch a bit. Feeling good.
