ranch dressing- low cal

love ranch, but it's not so good for you, until now. This whole jar of ranch is only 1.75 grams of fat and 255 calories! 1 cup dannon oikos plain greek yogurt, 1 packet hidden valley ranch mix, 1/2 cup 1% milk. Whisk together, chill 1 hour before use. Perfect consistency and tastes better than bottled!... This looks and sounds good! Have to try!!!

    We are kind of Ranch-snobs, so I make it using Hidden Valley Ranch (or any brand). To make it lighter, I use Hellmann's Canola mayo and 1% milk. Keeps the great flavor and still thickens up. What I've found is that it's really gross if you use light or fat free mayo. Also, although lots of people think mayo is mayo, I have to disagree. Hellmann's is the only brand we use.

    I tried making ranch with greek yogurt and it was aweful. The tanginess of the yogurt was too much for me!
