Anyone have any suggestions of music with a good beat to keep up the pace while running ? I'm open to most genres as long as it's something that is really just going to make you run faster along with it (: Thanks

I find that the speed of a song is sometimes a demotivator. The best tracks are ones with a good cadence.

I find 50s 60s rock and roll is often good, and jazz (i know this isnt everyone's cup of tea).

Tonight for example my best km was while Frank Sinatra sang Mack the Knife.

I also like to mix it up. Currently my runs are about 45-60 minutes so I make sure my playlist is around 3hrs worth and run it on a random shuffle.

The most amazing mash ups of every song you could ever think of-from The Ramones to Rihanna. Best of all they go for AGES so its a perfect running track, you never have to flick through songs. :D

Drum and bass. If you are not really into drum and bass then check out anything on Hospital records as it's very "accessible".
