P90X2-my opinion so far

Im nearly done with week 2, and i am just plugging away until i dont have to see these DVDs anymore. Both yoga x2 and recovery+mobility are just trash. Total body and core x2 are completely dull and unchallenging. Plyocide is fun, but needs to be done with some serious ankle weights. Ab ripper x2 is a mish mash of one on one and the first ab ripper.
So far, i really only enjoyed balance and power. the only challenge i have found so far is keeping your equipment out of the way when you dont need it; and having to pause to grab it in time when you do.
Please tell me phase 2 has less....well....suck and hate.

I've done three rounds of X2 and I loved it, but it's not for everyone.
Workouts are only as challenging as you make them.
If you hate it that much, quit now and move on to something you do like.0 -
So you're saying phase 2 and 3 are the same, then?0

No. Phase 2 is more like P90X, but the moves are done from unstable positions - swiss ball and med balls.
Phase three - PAP - is athletic training. Cutting edge athletic fitness and nothing like the original P90X.
Did you get the instructional guide with your package? Everything should be explained there.0 -
The package doesnt tell you human experience with it though. ill probably skip week three and just.get into phaae 2 on monday.0

I would recommend doing at least three weeks of phase1, but if you think your core is ready then go for it.
I didn't mind X2 yoga, but I prefer X1 yoga, I just shorten it a bit.
I also did not care all that much for foam rolling at first, but I have to admit that it does make me feel looser and helps with the aches and pains. I would occaisionally swap it out for good 'ol x stretch though!
Good luck!!0
