So I have got the weight down (like to lose a bit more, but not my main problem anymore) ... Now I just need the toning to do. I have the 'stomach pouch' that I would like to mainly tone and get ride of, and of course, tone the rest of my body, even though the others aren't my main 'problem'.
Anyways, I was just wondering, what are some good way that have good results for toning up your stomach and all ?
I just started the '30DS' today, and I am also trying to get into running. As for the running i've been doing the 'intervals' and have been able to go for 15-20 minutes so far.
Any kind of tips, other ideas or even motivation & success stories that would help, would be great.

What's your diet like?
What kind of intervals are you running (speed wise)?
Do you lift?0 -
My diet is pretty healthy. I havent really got into 'counting calories' but i lost about 40lb's last summer to a diet I was on when I had gallstones, so basically a 'low fat' diet... Umm, dont know how else to explain it. I eat a lot of veggie's and fruit, and not stuff with a lot of sugar or salt.
As for running, I just started about a week ago, so im running for 1 minute and then walking for 2. Seeing as its still a little hard for me to get into. ha.0 -
Recommend both cardio and heavy lifting.
Toning is accomplished through lowering your body fat %. Lifting is essential to maintaining your muscle mass as you lower your BF% through diet and exercise.
You can't spot reduce over your belly. The body will take fat from wherever it wants, no matter what part of your body you're exercising, and belly fat is usually the last to go.
All you can do is: Eat right, exercise (cardio and lifting), stay at a deficit, and be patient.0
