workout after wisdom teeth?

I am on day 3 after having all 4 wisdom teeth out. None were impacted, but I have had a lot of pain and almost comical swelling. My head just keeps throbbing and is very tender. I know I shouldn't work out today, but I have a dance competition coming up and am feeling the stress of being forced to lounge around. When do you think it's good to start back into working out? I usually dance and do the elliptical, sometimes jog.

Honestly, I wouldn't even workout until you're feeling a lot better. I had my wisdom teeth removed several years ago and I didn't want to go out at all. Just stayed at home and recovered.0

I just had oral surgery. I didn't end up looking like a chipmunk so I went for a walk after a day of recovery. It sucked not being able to do anything. I was so freaking jealous watching everyone on my FL doing stuff. So, I have learned something I learned that I would rather have some activity in my day than not. So, I am sorry to hear you are in too much pain to do what you want. Maybe in a couple days get up and walk around the block a few times during the day and go from there. I am guessing you are normally very active so this light level might be difficult to stick to, but it's probably a good idea while you are in recovery to not over do it.0
