Rich Creamy Cold Coffee - Lower Cals

I love cold coffee drinks in the summer time but hate the prices (and calories) of places like Starbucks.
Here's something I've been doing for the past couple of months that my boyfriend and I just love!
*1 Cup soy milk (or rice milk or any low fat, low cal milk)
*1 TSP instant coffee crystals (just about any instant coffee works)
*3 - 4 TSP Splenda or Sugar (or whatever you like to use to sweeten things)
Put ingredients in a blender and blend until frothy.
This makes an EXCELLENT cold and rich coffee drink. You get all the flavor and by doing it at home you not only save money but get to modify the calories too!
Note - the longer you blend it the more froth and foam you get (my favorite part! heheh)
For an extra cold and yummy treat you can substitute a little of the milk for some ice

I buy the sugar free flavor syrups from the local coffee shop and make my own lattes (esspresso machine was my anniversary present! so I would stop spending so much at starbucks hahaha!) .T he syrups would work well with this too!

I always make extra coffee in the morning and refrigerate it for a cold drink later. I never thought of making my iced drink in the blender, though. Thanks! I will try this tomorrow.0
