My name is Dawn, and I am pretty new to this, and I love it so far. I had a stroke in December due to severe dehydration, and I am learning to take care of myself. I have always been so worried about being heavy that I starved myself and became heavy. I'm told its very common. Its been a tough past six months, but I am healthy, and I am eating and walking every day. I am working on learning new ways to cook and new ways to exercise though. Any ideas would help. Anything I can help with let me know.
I am looking forward to making new friends on here too!

Yes it is very common that this happens!!
we commonly think, 'well hey, If i don't eat, I can't gain anything'
yet in fact. You're body will start using your muscle as energy and store it as. So while you're doing this your losing the muscle you had.
Starving yourself is extremely bad and can come with many negative effects.
Walking is great! and everyday why not try taking a step more?: ]0 -
