If you raised your caloric intake did you gain?

Hi everyone,

After reaching a plateau at 1550 calories I recently upped my intake to 1700 a day, which is my TDEE -15% since I am getting closer to my goal. When I went from 1200-1550 I was nervous about it but I lost weight immediately. After going up now I've actually gained almost two pounds! My clothes are even tighter when they were loose two weeks ago :(. It's not my TOM and I haven't changed my workouts so I'm hoping this is just a temporary gain because it's really frustrating gaining weight while working so hard to take it off.
