Only ever had this feeling once before , it wasn't painful , it felt like another layer of muscle taking over the bottom part of my muscle.
Anyone know what that was? :S

I'm guessing you mean a "pump". It'll feel like your muscle is expanding and if you keep at it, ready to burst. That comes from some good lifting, holding the weights under tension, stretching your muscles to keep at it. Your muscles build bigger by tearing and stretching... they heal and heal bigger. I don't mean literally tearing a muscle like winding you up in a dr office, but microscopic tears. The body heals over these, building the muscles bigger. So your muscles become engorged with blood as you lift. This really goes crazy if you do forced reps too! That's why they feel bigger, look bigger after lifting.... because they are.0
