Need a good cauliflower substitute

ice cream

i've got it!! *light bulb moment*

just take the cauliflower out of all those recipes and make the REAL thing xo.

But then they won't taste like cauliflower?

I've got all these great recipes for cauliflower;

Cauliflower pizza crust
Cauliflower mashed potatoes
Cauliflower pancakes
Cauliflower brownies
Cauliflower ice cream

But I was thinking...

All this bland, healthy goodness might not be the best thing for my mental health. What do you think would make a good substitute for cauliflower in these recipes?

Cauliflower pizza crust... substitute flour in place of the cauliflower
Cauliflower mashed potatoes... substitute potatoes in place of the cauliflower
Cauliflower pancakes... substitute flour in place of the cauliflower
Cauliflower brownies... substitute flour in place of the cauliflower
Cauliflower ice cream... substitute cream in place of the cauliflower

none of these will be as good as the cauliflower versions of course and it might no longer be accurate to call them by the same names, but in a pinch, you can probably get by with these substitutions. i do suggest referring to them correctly though, since some people on MFP get all ragey if you don't.

for example, it's probably best to refer to "Cauliflower ice cream" that's made with cream as "Cauliflower-free Cauliflower ice cream" just so nobody gets mad at you.

Use Collie Flower instead.
