A girl new to weights and strength training...

So I'm in desperate need of some upper body strength in particular my arms.. I've decided I'm going to switch gyms and start going 2-3 times a week to do strength training. I was wondering if anyone who knows what they are doing could give me some advice and help on what I should focus on and do etc I'm just so terribly lost and overwhelmed with all of this. Any help would be much appreciated thanks x

I've done a lot of reading and this is the best, free strength training it seems. I'm starting it today as I am bored of the baby weights the gym staff have me doing! Good luck

Does your new gym offer personal training programmes? When I moved on to the free weights I booked in an hours session to get a plan together, I was worried about incorrect form and injury. I know in some gyms it costs quite a bit for a personal training session but it's worth it.0
