No Time

Not having time to exercise and get healthy is NOT an excuse. We are all busy. It's up to you to make time and get it done. If you have time for watching tv, sleeping in then you have time for a 30-60 minute workout! It's all about making priorities and adjusting your schedule!!
Who is not letting time stop them from getting fit?

Not me. I get up at 4:40am so I can go to the gym at 5am, do an hour workout, come home get myself ready for work, DD ready for school. I am a single mum and work full time, have to go to bed at 9pm, but that's what I do, because the morning is the best time for me to fit my weight training into my day.
I am so NOT a morning person, but I don't even think about it, don't pause, just get up and get dressed and get out the door!
No more excuses.0 -
I work night shift so the time crunch hits me hard! I am also a mother of three and married so each day I am awake by 1500 to be with my family. However, I am in the gym in the morning after my shift for at least 30 mins 4-5 days a week. Most of my workouts are around 2 hours but when I'm beat I cut it to 30. If I can do it knowing that my sleep will only be around the 4 hour mark and still manage everything else...ANYONE can do it.0

Well said and you know I've myself been struggling in that department. But it is very true that if it is a priority then you will make time. I've been actually thinking that morning is best for myself as well!0

yep, start at 4am0

You're right. That used to be my excuse. Then I realized that if I exercised for an hour a day, that is just one twenty-fourth of my day! All those benefits for that small sliver of time? Yes please!0

Up at 4am...
At the CrossFit Box by 4:45am for the 5am WOD...
Back home by 6:30am at the latest.
The only excuse for not exercising is if you are dead.
Read this and watch the videos then come back and give us your excuses...

It used to be my excuse as well.
I'm too tired... I don't have time.
It just means you don't want it badly enough.0 -
Up at quarter to 5. In the gym by quarter past. Work out till quarter past 7. At work for 8 - 4.30pm. In bed by 10.30-11.
people that have "no time" are lazy.0 -
I completely agree. I was awful for using the 'no time' excuse a few years back because I had 2 kids. Fast forward to now and I have 2 more (21 months old and 8 weeks old) and time really isn't an issue. You make time. Nobody is so busy that they can't spare an hour or so a day. I was just lazy to be honest. Glad to be a different person today0

You MUST be selfish about your health and workouts. If you can't give yourself at least an hour per day then you are neglecting yourself and eventually you will fail others.
Early mornings are hard, but they are the best time because the world is asleep. Get up, get it done. BOOM.0 -
I'm a single full time working mom of a 3 yearold and we have a long commute so we're gone from 7:30 am to 7pm on weekdays. Obviously I don't have a lot of time. For the longest time people kept telling me to get up earlier and fit my workout in before my daughter gets up. But I really can't do that. Morning workouts aren't a one size fits all solution. The trick is finding what works for you as an individual. Now that I'm over thinking I have to workout in the morning, I do a 3-5 mile run at lunch and I do an hour of body weight strength training 3 days a week at around 9pm after the lo is in bed and chores are done for the day.0

I go to the gym for an hour before I go to work. I get up at 6:15 and cycle to the station, catch a train and go to the gym which is a 2-min walk from my job. I do this because I know that if I leave it and have to go after work, I won't find the motivation. Everyone around me who hears about it looks at me as if I just told them that I wear underwear on my head every day. They think it's totally crazy. I just know myself well enough to know that I will find any excuse to escape the gym after work. This solved the problem. And the feeling that it's 9am and you've already been to the gym.... is awesome.
You're right, if you care enough, you will find what works for you. I prepare my lunch/breakfast/gym clothes the night before and it takes me up to an hour and a half sometimes (or if I *really* don't have time I buy a pre-packed lunch). But I think it's worth it.0 -
I work out while my daughter plays soccer (practices only cause I HAVE TO watch all her games) and after 7PM.0

I wake upat 5am each morning and workout. Then I get my daughter up at 6 to start our morning routine. Some mornings are harder than others.0
