Hi everyone. What a great comminity! Looking for friends and accountability. I just started a week ago and it feels amazing to be eating clean and working out again. For nearly 3 years I've been neglecting myself and stuffing down feelings with food and wine after separating from my husband of 35 years. Just "woke up" 35 lbs heavier wondering why none of my clothes fit and how the &?#*^£!? did I let things get this far. Hmmm, 35 years, 35 lbs? I did the HCG diet last year and lost 18 lbs - and BOOM talk about rebound weight gain WOW! Never weighed so much and not been pregnant! Ruined my metabolism. I may be a slow learner, but I'm finally going to do the only thing I haven't tried... Take it slow and steady. A lifestyle change, not a diet. I know what to do and how to do it: Eat Clean with 80% compliance, Train with weights, and walk or do my elliptical. Just gotta figure out if I can have a glass of wine here and there... I'm 5'9 My goal is 150 and 18% body fat by Halloween. BOO!
