Over the Sugar limit

I'm wondering if my daily intake of sugar is over the recommended amount, can it have a negative or adverse affects on my weight loss? My sugar intake is mostly natural sugar from fruits. Should I be limiting my fruit intake?

Not unless you have a medical reason to do so. MFP's sugar goal is set to the usual goal for *added* sugar.0

Ahh thank you very much! That's very helpful.0

I am always over with my sugar. I wish I could say its all fruits, but I can't :-D
I am a bit confused about it though....I am always over my sugar but also I am usually about 500 under my cals (depending on the day, weekends I am usually over on my cals due to not as much exercise)
So....is over sugar but under cals ok? Or no?0 -
Honestly, I think you'll be fine. I'm always over my sugar limit pretty much every day. All it takes is a bowl of Kashi cereal with non fat milk and I'm already almost over!!! It's ridiculous!
Plus, you're being good, unlike me! You've got this. As long as you have a deficit throughout most of the week, you should be fine0 -

Again, it depends on your body's reaction to sugar. For example, sugar for me is NOT good but, my husband doesn't have a problem with it. Do your best to try and limit it to your "Good" Sugars (fruit, etc). any BAD sugars aren't good for anyone but, again, everyone's bodies process and handle sugar in different ways.
I am Hypoglycemic and have PCOs so, extra sugars for me are not a good thing!0 -
Thank you! We just have to stay committed to this! We can do this!0

I'm always over on my sugar; nearly hit my max after my morning fruit smoothie, but I'm trying to get better. I found this article really enlightening!0
