Cool definition of "clean eating"

I know everyone has a different view on what clean eating means but I heard this one last night and just thought it was cool.

"If it came from the ground, or had a mother, eat it!"

    Let's stick with "Eat that which has been grown, but not currently or previously human".

    I've seen "if it came from a plant and was not made in a plant" but obviously, that only applies to picking your baby giraffes.

    Oil came from the ground. Comes from dinosaurs (if you believe that fairy tale) and dinosaurs had mummies.
