How often should I weigh in???

how often should i weigh in to avoid discouragement? when i started the diet &exercise plan i weighed in after 9 days and lost 5 lbs i was happy but i know weigh loss gets slower as u lose more, thats the only time i've weighed in so far today is day 10, when should i weigh in again?

    My weight loss group weighs in once a week.. that's not saying that I'm not a scale addict and don't weigh in 2-3 times a week. Even WW will tell you you should weigh in once a week, but I think most of all, it's up to you and what you can live with. I try to do very other day or ever 3rd day..

    As a woman, weighing in every day would just invite discouragement, because our bodies just LOVE to retain water, and we can vary in weight a good 2-4 lbs a day easily. Whatever time you set for yourself, weigh in at the same time and in the same manner consistently.. like I weigh in before my shower each morning that I weigh in. If you're choosing to weigh in wearing clothes, I would weigh in in the same outfit each time... that way you aren't comping extra or less weight based upon the clothing you are wearing.

    Just remember not to get discouraged.. as a woman, you are guaranteed to have one week where you are up regardless of what you did the week before.
