Working out when sore

I started back up on Tuesday doing my weight training and I am extremely sore. I also started the C25K on Monday and yesterday would have been my 2nd day. I had to take yesterday off because I was so sore. I am still pretty sore but I want to get back to the C25K. What would you suggest? Do you think if I just do a nice warm up I should be ok?
TIA!!
TIA!!

The best thing to do is to warm up and do your training as per usual. I guarantee you will instantly feel better after you warm up and start to train. Maybe drop the intensity a bit but the best thing is to actually train lighter or slower.
Unless the pain is VERY VERY sharp and not just *soreness* you are okay.

Well said, Koing! Try a ten minute warm up, stretch, then hit your workout. It's getting started thats the hardest part. Best wishes!0

you pretty much have to decide whether you are sore, or in pain.
for me, a run actually helps with the soreness from lifting. but, during the first 2 weeks of lifting, i found it easier to run right after the weight training, and then take the next day off and feel sorry for myself. - now i run after lifting, and the next day
maybe consider putting off the c25k for 2 weeks, (just go for 30 minute walks instead) until you don't feel all that sore anymore...0 -
Thank you for all the advice. I do notice when sitting all day at work and then getting up is the hardest. I am sure my coworkers are wondering why I am making so much noise when standing and sitting! ha
I am going to give my run a try but if it is to much I will stick with the walk.
Thanks again!0
