NSV - Being Ignored

Great NSV today. I was walking through the cafeteria today when I passed a friend/coworker whom I hadn't seen in almost a year. I smiled to see hello. She smiled and kept walking. That's strange, I thought. So I called out her name to say hi. She looked back at me, shook her head and then realized that it was me! She gave me the greatest compliment - "OMG! I didn't even recognize you. You look fabulous! Seriously, you look great!" That one comment helped me bypass the office cake later that afternoon.
