Hi everyone!
New to the site, and I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a pretty big forum buff, so maybe joining this community will help to keep me on track and motivated!
About me: I'm a 24 year old lady, and 5'2" who's weight has skyrocketed since moving out of my parents' house and finishing college. Currently, I'm about 200 lbs, and most of the weight has come on in the past few months. It's not REALLY surprising, seeing as I'm a pastry chef, and in school, we had to learn that butter trumps everything. :laugh:
Losing this weight is important to me, not only to be healthy (And man, are there hormone problems), but also because I'm getting married in a little over a year! I'd really like to look back at our wedding photos and not be drawn to my arm flab. Really, who would? :noway:
I'm excited to be joining the community, too. I've seen so many motivated, supportive people here, and I'll be trying to hop in to add more to that. Cheers!

Feel free to add me! I am 5ft 4 - started at 222, currently at 192 - ultimate goal somewere around 130 i guess (still trying to figure out what my "ideal" goal weight is - lost about 30 lbs working out, watching what i eat, and logging on MFP
I'm engaged with the same goal - enjoying looking back at my photos, too!0 -

Thanks for the replies! I should also add that I'm just starting out with exercise. Literally just came from the gym. I'll be starting both zumba classes and yoga classes. I saw they're supposed to be good when done together. And also dieting, obviously!0 -
