HI,

I am trying to maintain a 1200 calorie diet every day, a bit more exercising.

What are some good meal plans? any really good foods or really bad foods? good snacks for exercise?

    As a general rule you want to be eating plenty of lean proteins, veggies, whole grains, etc. As for any particular meal plan, I've never tried one. Plan ahead, log your foods, eat things you like in moderation, learn what a healthy portion looks like, and make changes as you go.

    Options
    Breakfast Options: 2 Hard Boiled Eggs, Greek Yogurt, 3/4 cup Kashi Cereal (or Special K), Two egg whites with wheat toast and tsp butter, cottage cheese (basically, high protein breakfast)

    Lunch Options: Protein with greens, Arnold Wheat Thin Bread with Lean Protein (coupled with at least a half cup of fruit), fast food options (chipotle: salad (no dressing) chicken, fajita veg, tomatoes and guac), etc --- keep your lunch to 400 cals

    Snack: Granola bar, string cheese, dried edamame, small fruit, 15 almonds and 1/2 cup of fruit

    Dinner: 8 oz of fish plus 2/3 rice/grain/pasta plus 2 cup veg, 6 oz of chicken plus 2/3 rice/pasta or baked potato and 2 cup veg, 5 oz steak and 2 cup veg, 1 cup of pasta with 1/2 cup marinara sauce, 2 slices of pizza and side salad (no dressing)

    And at least 8 glasses of water
