I would really like to know who has done it without surgery.....just as inspiration to myself

No surgery here, just a year and a half of grinding

Proud to be in the company of so many amazing people.

Unlike some, I knew it was going to happen. Once I made the decision to do it, I was either going to lose the weight, or I was going to die trying (and there were some days I felt sure I was going to die!).

    No surgery.

I lost 115 from Jan 2011 to June 2012. I put 35lbs back on over the last year, because I got lazy and now I'm working hard to get it back off.

    Me me me me!

9 months in, 116 pounds down, about 40-50 (?) more to go.
Former couch potato now training for a 10K.
    Cuh-razy, right?

No surgery. Just counting calories and exercising. And a 12-step program for food addiction. :)

Just 6lbs to go, I'm so proud of everyone that has been able to do this. I never thought in a million years I'd have to lose 100lbs, never mind actually losing it.

I've maintained 120+ pounds lost for almost two years.

My boyfriend has also maintained a loss of over 120 pounds for a long time, and he also uses MFP.

I lost 2 pounds somewhere. But I know exactly where the rest of them are: stacked in the corner on the gym floor.

Not yet :grumble: but have 12 to go at this point.
Then I want to lose at least another 25.
Then I'll see where I'm at.
