Hello - Evil Bread

I'm 22, I used to be 247 (the highest I've knowingly been) and randomly lost 25 pounds in a month. Now I'm at 234 and I am NOT happy about gaining 12 pounds back. The only difference.. more meat and WAY less carbs. Basically no bread at all, except for four slices.
Carbs and PCOS do not seem to work. So while I try to get back in shape (I use to bike ride for 2-4 hours a day, now i barely walk around the yard), I hope to lose 90ibs by my wedding date. 90ibs being a retaliative amount, It may be as high as 117 ibs but I'm going with 89ibs for now.

Anyone else seem to have a war with bread, creams or carbs in general? Mine is a love hate relationship, I love it, it hates me(weight gain).

I'm avoiding high glycemic index carbs unless I need them, for example, when I'm out on an all-day bike ride need a constant supply of energy for the hills.

So bread, white rice, potatoes are out.

I love 'em too. But until I reach my goal then they're pretty much off the menu.

Yes, I'm right there with you, I avoid bread, but I LOVE bread! :flowerforyou:

Nothing like fresh baked bread still warm with real butt melting on it..... oh yum!

The thing is I know if I start eating good bread, when I finally do stop, I'll be way over my limit, and will feel bloated for a while, then in too short a time I'll be very hungry again, thus I avoid bread. My main source of carbs is now veggies and some fruit, and Genmai, Japanese brown rice, I like it cooked in a pressure cooker, only takes 20 min and it comes out nutty and good!
