depends on what you are doing in that shower.

That depends entirely on the "daily activities" you do! Are you sitting on your butt all day? Do you have kids you have to chase around? Do you have a desk job, or a more active job? Do you cook a lot? These are all possible factors.

Figure out your BMR (MFP has a calculator for it) and multiply it by one of these to determine the extra calories you burn.

    If you're sedentary: BMR x 1.2
If you lightly active (you have a job, could be a desk job): BMR x 1.375
    Moderatley active: BMR x 1.55
Very active (have kids, you never stop moving, etc.): BMR x 1.725
Extemely active (very phiscally active and taxing job): BMR x 1.9

You can then figure out how much extra your "daily activities" burn.

For example if you have a BMR of 1400 and you're lightly active, that's 1400 x 1.375 = 1900 total daily burn. Minus the 1400 of your BMR, that means you burn 500 calories a day in daily activities.

There are other free calorie trackers, or you can just google. Lose It counts housework, gardening, vacuuming.... Some days, I am on my feet all day puttering, and others, I am sitting in a car or at a desk. It makes a difference!

That would be your TDEE (not including exercise) minus BMR

So, figure out your BMR. Then your TDEE
    From LaurenAOK
    If you're sedentary: BMR x 1.2
If you lightly active (you have a job, could be a desk job): BMR x 1.375
    Moderatley active: BMR x 1.55
Very active (have kids, you never stop moving, etc.): BMR x 1.725
Extemely active (very phiscally active and taxing job): BMR x 1.9

    So yeah, TDEE - BMR
