How the Heck Do You Log Strength Training On Here?

I just started back up again today, moving around. But now I tried to log my strength training and can't even find weights. Since I am doing TDEE-20%, should I just ignore logging exercise and make sure I do something every day?

    I wear.a heart rate monitor when I lift then record I under cardiovascular as weight training w HRM and input the minutes and the calories

    there is no way to tell. just make a number up. hrms do not work and are just as accurate as making a number up but without the hassle of wearing a hrm.

    If you click on Cardiovascular strength training is an option (who knew?!!). Just put in your minutes and it calculates the rest. I was wondering the same thing until someone told me it is listed under cardio...go figure. I just ignore the strength option column now and list everything under Cardio.

    I think the estimate MFP uses is about right for strength training. Obviously it is a lot less than accelerated heart rate cardio. I do know I sweat like a pig when I lift heavy and I do it fairly consistently for an hour, so while it may not be as high as other cardio it does burn cals. MFP says about 300 calories for an hour which might be high but since I only eat back about half my exercise calories I think I am ok so far.
