I recently got introduced to foam rolling and I was just wondering when does everyone on mfp finds the best time to do foam rolling is, before or after their workout?
I did it once during the training session and once after a workout on my own, but maybe before is better?
Let me know

Before and after is what people recommend.

warm up...stretch/foam roll....work out.....stretch/foam roll. That's what I've always been instructed to do, wouldn't mind hearing other peoples thoughts.0

At the beginning my trainer was like "your going to find some sharp pains"
I thought he was kidding haah.0 -
It's good before if you have some spots you need kneaded out. It's good afterwards as a cooldown to help massage muscles. It's excellent in between to help break up any scar tissue and work out those knots.0
