AppleSauce/Chicken Question

Okay, I have a really silly question. I LOVE apples in chicken salad but there is no way I can crunch them right now. Has anyone tried using appleSAUCE for that taste? I guess I could grind them up in my blender but it would still be more liquid. I just wonder if it would work for the apple flavor?

have you tried grating it? I like apple in my salad and but I dont like crunching them. I grate it with a cheese grater and dry it with some paper towel so it doesnt make stuff soggy.0

Hm, that might work. I really love the taste of apple but my teeth won't take one.
I think I would rather grate it since you don't get so much extra liquid that way. 0 -
I eat it grated because I have weird sensory issues with crunching some things. Apples and water chestnuts are a couple. Grating has always worked in salads for me. Just do it fresh, or dress it right away as it goes brown fast.0

I have problems with my teeth, I wouldn't mind being able to crunch things again! But I am trying to find ways I can still enjoy some of the things I love that are good for me. And grated apple wouldn't add liquid.0
