List of Low Carb/Keto Snacks and Cold Lunches

A friend requested ideas on low carb/keto snack and lunches that didn't have to be heated. I did low carb to lose the 30 I have lost and then sort of fizzled out and went back to my old ways. Although I am a firm believer you can eat anything at all and as long as you are at a deficit, you will lose, I personally feel better and have more energy on LC/keto and want to get back to it for those reasons. His question got me thinking of LC eating and I decided to make a list for his girlfriend to give her some ideas that wouldn't be the boring old "eat meat, eat meat." This is what I came up with and it is a work in progress but I made a list of my favs from some of the sites I get recipes off of often. Hope it will help someone out there doing LC or keto and needing some variety! If you like it and would like a list of hot meals, PM me! • Chicken Salad: I put shredded chicken breast, some broccoli slaw, a couple Tbs dill pickle relish, a little shredded cheddar cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder in a bowl to take to work. When ready to eat, I add a packet or two of mayo and mustard.
• Missing bread? Sami’s Bakery Millet and Flax Chips are VERY low in net carbs and are a good substitute for chips or tortilla chips.
• Josephs’ Bakery has AWESOME flax, oat bran and whole wheat pitas that are HUGE and only 2 net carbs for the whole thing!
