Lose fat/weight exercise

What have people found to be the best exercise to shift the fat/weight.

I currently walk between 1-4 miles a day varies each day and 1 or days a week cardio either a workout dvd or running. I also do various strength exercises every morning is this enough? Is this the right exercises? Any advise welcome

I cant say whether that's enough because we're all different.
The routine that I found that really burns the fat? Incline power walking/stair walking, squats, dead lifts and press ups. Also keep changing your routine, or don't let it become a routine. The body adapts quickly to exercise so you need to keep it guessing, which is why workouts like cross fit are so good.

Beginners routine (need a stop watch, clock), do as many reps as you can in 10 minutes if this - Run 200m or Up and down stairs x 2, 10 air squats, 5 press ups (on knees if needs be), 5 burpees, 10 sit ups.

This was my first crossfit workout.

You don't need any kit to do this, it's all based on using your body weight. Do this once or twice every day and you'll find after just a week you can do more and more and it will become easier.

Any exercise is good exercise. But she is right the body does adapt so you need to change it up. I am very limited in what I can do so my exercises are not conventional. I fit mine into my daily routine. Giving the dog a bath, house cleaning, dog walk, Lifestyle exercise bike. I know its not very motivational. I used to cross train before my accident and it the fastest way to get into shape if your body will let you do it. You will never be sorry. I am now 53 and while I am disabled my body even overweight is still very defined by muscle and I can thank that to spending so much time in the gym when I was younger. A stair stepper or stairs burn the most calories, but they are a tough workout do as much as you can. The next day work your upper body. Workout your body in zones and you will have less of a problem with soreness and your body adapting.

You lose weight through calorie deficit. You don't need to spend one minute exercising in order to lose weight. You just need to eat less.

Just calorie deficit is okay and you will lose weight but if you really want to get the most out of your weight loss add strength training. I found when I added strength training I started losing more inches and got more toned. You may not lose the weight as fast but you are getting leaner. Not to mention you will burn calories for a longer period of time after your workout.
