Any clean eaters out there

Options
My husband and I are planning on embarking on a eat-clean diet soon. Reason being his liver and my big butt. Just wondering if there are any clean eaters here and if they can offer any good suggestions.

Recipes will be nice.

my father have the same condition as your husband.. i will check with mom for recipes and post them.. mean while you can follow some tips as..
1- when using the oil don't heat it.. and better don't use it at all
2- embrace more vegetables and salads.
3- Stop using sugar.. replace with honey or diet sweets..

i tried cooking without oil and really found it so fun and the food is still tasty as is light of course.. i will try to post my recipes on the database you might find something you like.

Vegetables: Zucchini, carrots, green beans, mushroom, sweet corn .. place all in a pot with small amount of water and place on low fire till well done.. then add salt n pepper.... YOU CAN ADD ANY VEGETABLES YOU LIKE TO BE COOKED IN THE SAME WAY.

Cheese : avoid all kinds except light types.

Meat: any type of red meet / chicken you can do the following: get a non-stick fry pan.. heat (no oil used) till it is really hot.. place the meat/chicken pieces till get reddish color from everywhere... add onion (chopped), garlic (clove or more depend on the amount of meat/chicken you are using) stir till all get a brownish color then add water. add some spices (salt- pepper-nutmeg- Thyme- what ever you like).. and keep on very low heat till well cooked.

i will post some recipes for you in the coming days..

Yep, I am. (At least... I try to be.) My basic reason why is because it's more affordable to eat clean than it is to eat a lot of processed food...plus when I eat processed food, I seem to crave more. (The only exception is that I still buy dried pasta, and only a few items are purchased as organic. So, clean eating for me may mean something different from others.)

The blog 100 Days of Real Food - http://www.100daysofrealfood.com/) is very inspirational, and I get a lot of my recipe ideas from there.
