StrongLifts 5x5 Help

Anyone doing SL 5x5 and willing to "talk" with me?

I am on week 5 and finally getting to the point where my body actually feels it and I know before long I will be working hard to keep the weight increases going.

I have signed up for the emails but passed up the most recent chance to join the "Inner Circle" until I have proven to myself that I can be consistent and maintain the program.

I am looking for someone who may be further along than I or at least wants to share some experiences and advice, and I mean share, as in give and take.

If you're intent on spending money, there are better places to do it. Like advice from real powerlifting experts like Jim Wendler. And there's plenty of excellent free communities.

OK, that was my thought also. Thanks
  • How do you guys factor your calories burned from 5x5. Just curious.

Log it as strength training under cardio. Adjust as needed.

I have the same question. At first I was logging 125 for my 30 mins, but at week 4 I upped it to 200 because the weight was getting more realistic but I really have no idea what I may be burning during 30 mins of strength training.
