New Rules of Lifting for Women+Cardio?

Hello everyone,
I know there are several threads on here about New Rules of Lifting for Women, but trying to read through all the posts is a full-time job. I was just wondering if any of you out there have tried this program. I am looking to start this week, but I am wondering if it's also ok to do cardio a few times a week, as well. I like to run and would like to continue doing so in addition to the NROLFW plan.

If I recall correctly (I don't have my book with me atm) I believe he says cardio is OK. The issue is the thinking that cardio alone will get you fit and toned-looking (for lack of a better term). He says that it is an individual thing: if you can do cardio in addition to lifting and neither aspect of your regimen suffers (decreased performance/endurance, injury, excessive fatigue etc) then go for it.0

I did both. Eh. I think a concern in the book was making sure you give yourself enough time for your body to recover, but if you feel.you can do both, go for it.
Also there is a NROLFW group. They might be able to give you better in depth answers.0 -
I do the weights Mon, Wed and Friday and I do cardio on the other days. So far it has been ok.0
