Hi.. just a month ago I started using MFP ~ I dropped a few pounds just yet I have not noticed major changes in my thighs and hips. I'm doing the exercises Banish Fat Boost Metabolism and Jillian Michaels for Beginners workout (Front Side) alternating. Please any suggestions for other exercises that help me to burn in my thighs and hips is welcome. Important I am not the kind of person to perform many sors because I suffer of arthritis I can do minor jumps....

The honest answer that I've learned is. There is so way to lose weight in just your thighs and your hips. The weight will come off in the order it wants to until all the extra fat is gone, but if you build your muscles then they will look better, and muscles needs more calories than fat on a day to day basis. So that being said, build muscles, eat right, lose weight. Atleast for me it was. Now for the arthritis, I don't know if its convenient for you, but swimming would be a great work out not only for your legs but your whole body, and reduces the impact on your joints. To tighten and tone my thighs, I love incline walking or jogging. I can feel the burn immediately. I don't have hips to help you on that one, just big ole love handles, and if you figure out how to lose those. I'd love to know.
Hope any of this helped0 -
I lose fat around my hips & thighs dead last. It's mostly genetics, where you are going to lose weight is predetermined.
If you like DVDs (I love them) .... look up any DVDs you are interested in here first to see if it is low impact

Like many (most?) of Jillian's stuff Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism is high impact

I like Kelly Coffey Meyer workouts .... some of hers are lower impact0 -
My hip and thigh areas are the last places to lose for me. I do a lot of plyometrics, but that wouldn't be good for your arthritis. Keep doing what you are doing and eat at a deficit and it will come off. Maybe not where you want, but we can't choose where we lose.

Sorry I agree with other genetics plays a trick here and we can not pick where weight is necessarily lost but you can do simple things to tone them which might help to encourage body to take from that area like walking with joint and arthritis warm water is a really goood place and you can do lunges in ater or on land for low impact and squats are low impact. Check out if you have an arthritis class in a pool the one I taught helped a few loose weight and get joints to feel better.0
