Hello! I've recently completed 30 Day shred and Ripped in 30 videos. Because of my schedule these kinds of videos fit perfectly in my schedule for a quick morning workout, followed by another 30-60 minute workout after work. Do any of you have suggests on Kick Boxing Dvds like this? Or any other sort of workout Dvds that incorporate it. Thanks for the help!

The Tap Out dvd was sometimes hard to follow but it was fun. I definitely got stronger. I would recommend it and I would actually like to do it again.0

Jillian has a slightly longer (40 min) video that has plenty of KB moves in it called Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism. You can watch it in its entirety on Youtube if you want to check it out before buying it.
Of course there's always Tae Bo and you can scrounge up those dvds very easily.0 -
I have Cathe's Kick, punch and crunch and I really like it. I have also been doing fitnessblenders kickboxing workouts on youtube.
Jillian has a kickboxing dvd that has 3 seperate 20mi ute segments , I do one along with 30ds to make my workout longer.0 -

I loved Les Mills Combat. I did that workout back in January. I loved the 60 day program for so many reason. I love it because the workouts were 30 min to 45 min. The music was fun and the trainers made it go quick and fast. I lost 5lbs and 6 inches.0

Cathe's is good. I should make a video. So many people have asked me to make one because of the speed I use in my classes (150-160 BPM's lots of times) and because my kbox class are more martial arts based. Eh, maybe if I could get someone to video it and distribute it.
Double for me on the speed and martial arts-based when I teach. But I think the heavy bag part of the class wouldn't video well... That's my favorite part.0 -

This...
I have a few years of martial arts background: Bare-knuckle Japanese Karate, GJJ, and Muay Thai. I also have quite a collection of Kickboxing-type DVDs. I found Les Mills Combat quite enjoyable and effective because of the "natural" martial arts moves and high energy music. I also find myself being motivated by Rachel Newsham and Dan Cohen.0 -
Jillian Michaels Kickboxing Fast Fix.
This is cued poorly ...... but if you can follow almost everything, this will work for you. I need more structure. Ilaria Montagnani's cueing is excellent .... this is the PowerStrike series.
Dozens of video clips for kickboxing videos here:

So since I already had Jillian Michaels Kickboxing Fast Fix downloaded, I decided to try it. And I agree is cued poorly but I was able to follow it. I did 2 of the 20-minute sessions and I am dripping in sweat. But I think I'm going to try the Les Mills Combat next.0

^^This. Being that you like Jillian, this would be perfect for you. I love this DVD. It's very high energy and you will get a high calorie burn for 20 minutes. I think technically it's 21 minutes with the cool down. I used to get an average burn of 220 calories! I felt uncoordinated at first, but keep doing it and you will fall into the rhythm of it sooner than you think!0 -
Definitely Les Mills Combat. I have a martial arts background and I find that I really like it. I finished a 60 day round and have switched to alternating between some of the cardio workouts with Tapout XT. While I do like the Tapout workouts, I notice that there is not as much emphasis on technique and there are fewer actual kickboxing workouts--Tapout is supposed to get you close to "fighting shape" even though some of the workouts do incorporate kicks/knee strikes, etc.0

My gym has a 60 min class based on this and I love it. It's probably my favorite class, but I haven't done the videos. I do like the good old tae bo videos too0
