Why is this happening?

Well it's been 1 week since I started actually using the app andwell I haven't really changed much about my diet except taking out my snacking. And basically I lost close to 6lbs already in a week? I'm sure it isn't a health amount so I just want to ask are there any ideas why this is happening? (Not that it's a bad thing) but I haven't exercised at all either, just like normal walking. Could it be that because my house doesn't have AC I could possibly be sweating pounds? (haha..) since it's around high 80s and I, since I'm weird, add onto the heat by dressing thick (compared to usual summer clothing)?

Depends on what the snacks were/ how long your now walking for.
Most people do lose quite alot in their first week.0 -
If your snacks were high in sodium they were probably causing you to retain a lot of water.0

First 2 weeks or so you'll lose a ton of weight, most of it is water weight. Just keep tracking your weight until it levels off at a reasonable rate, ideally no more than 2 lbs per week once it levels off0

It's only been a week, so it's too soon to judge. I would guess you'll see some of that weight back, then you'll lose more, then maybe gain, etc. Weight loss never goes in a straight downward line, for me anyway. Just cutting snacks could put you at a deficit depending on what snacks you were having. Another thought - is it possible that you've changed more than you think? Maybe using the app is making you more conscious of what you are eating without you realizing it.0
