Need shoe insert advice

Hi (:
I hope I'm posting in the right place. I'm looking for shoe insert advice. I currently weigh just under 440, and I prefer to walk a few miles a day, time/weather permitting. I loved my new balance 1123's I got last year. I wear a 4E so finding shoes that fit is VERY hard. New balance has since discontinued the 1123 much to my disappointment.. I have tried the newer versions, even at 4E they ALL now run too narrow!! I've tried prophet shoes also and the heel is too wide.
This leaves me with few options, new shoes, which I can't find ANY that fit, I constantly check amazon and eBay for the 1123 to reappear but no dice, to get inserts which I'm not sure will help my already gone shoes, but it's either that or stop walking which I don't WANT to do either. My feet hurt so bad from walking when I get done I feel I'll die if I take another step literally.
So I have no clue about inserts, I think my weight needs to be taken into account and the fact that I intend on being a daily walker. I don't know which brand to look for, if there are special ones for super super wide feet (lol). ANY advice on the matter would be massively appreciated! (:

So the 1540 doesn't work? I don't know about inserts, I suppose you could try, but I'd definitely replace the shoes if possible.
I also found these:

My husband is pretty much exclusively use New Balance products, and almost always gets them from this site.
I don't know if the 2E in Brooks would work for you or if it wouldn't be wide enough, but my MiL got some brooks because she needed wide shoes and she loves them. I also wear Brooks to run, and I really like them a lot.0 -
I get orthotics from my chiropractor they make them custom made. I stay away from the kind you get in store..I like custom made vs one size fits all I feel I would rather spend more on something that works better and last longer..just my opinion.

I've tried the brooks adrelene gts 13, nb wx857, prophet stability walker, asics gt 2160, I don't think I tried the nb 1540 because the reviews said people looking for a new shoe that were used to the 1123 all said the new shoes were running smaller
this morning I delved into the men's section of 4E's on zappos which I see is a LOT
Bigger than the female selection so ill try some of those I guess
I don't have insurance or know the first thing about seeing a chiropractor to get orthopedic's made.. How expensive would that be?
Thank you for the help you both provided too
