I've not had mirrors I could see 'all of me' in for years (by accident, not design) This morning I am headed to my bathroom which as a huge mirror which can be seen from one end of my place to the other. Wearing an outfit I've had for years.

As I am walking towards it, I look at myself and my brain says "omg, you really look thin(ner), you *have* lost weight."

Yes, for the first time since I started this weight loss process I actually saw with my own eyes that I am smaller.

I needed this.

I am encouraged for the first time in a long time about losing this weight.

S.W.

Awesome! And just what you needed. My scale moves down slowly every week, but I believe for me at least that the NSV's are what keep me going. It is so hard to look into the mirror and not see a fat girl, but the days I am able to see progress...those are the days that make me hold my head high and keep on moving forward. :)
