Has anyone tried Shakeology? What were your results?
I do not have much to lose, only around 5 pounds, plus toning.

What do you think that Shakeology is going to do for you that you can't achieve with a moderate calorie deficit and a reasonable exercise program?0

No, I haven't tried it, because my friend said it's expensive and also because everyone on my FL who tried it, tried to make everyone else do it, which makes me think that's the thing about it. Also because on the forum posts people always say "Oh I put x,y, an z in it and THEN it tastes soooooooo good." Which makes it like a thousand calories by then and makes me think it tastes bad on it's own.0

I drink Shakeology and actually love it. Does it taste like a chocolate milkshake? No but then again what protein/meal replacement type shake does? I drink it because it keeps me regular (TMI) and the biggest reason.............seems to really help with my eating the rest of the day. I still try to have healthy snacks but instead of devouring an entire pack of almonds I am satisfied with a serving size. I don't seem to want to eat as much later in the day/night either. It is expensive so i only use about 1/2 scoop to make my bag last longer. I drink mine with water and ice. I quit drinking it for about two months and could definitely tell a difference in my energy level and just my overall health. I would recommend trying it at least. It is one of the healthiest shakes out there.0

Just in case you weren't aware of this feature, when you go to the message boards section, there is a button called search and you can type in a keyword/phrase (ex: shakeology) and you can see the threads that have already been created on the topic. Good luck! :flowerforyou:

Shakeology, from what I hear, is not worth the money.
There are much better shakes out there that are whole-food products and that don't have whey in them.
I always go with whole-food based products that have Nutrition labels, not supplement labels.
One that I would recommend is the Juice Plus Complete Shake... it's an all plant-based protein shake powder. No Whey. All whole food so has nutrition label. Comes in chocolate or vanilla... completely delish ... no chalky taste... and costs less than $2.00 per serving compared to the $4+ for Shakeology.
I have one every day for breakfast... keeps me full til lunch and is a great way for me to control calories esp in the morning.
I can send a picture of the label and ingredients list if you'd like.0
