Hi folks,
I'd love some feedback from you:-
1) Tell me how much weight you've lost in past 4 weeks
2) Also tell me how much in the past 4 months pretty please
3) How much you've still got to lose til goal
I know I lose at THE most diabolically slow rate! but.. I'd love to see what the average loss is :-D
I'm on the home run with only 5 lbs to lose now..but its slowed to slower than a snails pace LOL
My answers are:
4wks - 1 lb loss
4 mths - 2.5lb loss
5lbs from goal

I've lost 33 pounds in almost 8 weeks............and I'm a fella...lol:laugh:

I met my initial goal at the end of August. I haven't lost anything since then as I decided to maintain for a few months and see what that looks like and feels like and to mull over new goals. When I was losing, I lost an average of 1 Lb per week...but I had weeks with nothing..weeks with a little loss...weeks with bigger losses...weeks with a gain, etc. It has never been, nor will it ever be a linear event.
I'm currently on another cut, but it is purposely very slow and very small calorie deficit. I want to drop a few more BF% points, but I'm also training for a couple of races and a Goruck, so I need to make sure I'm maintaining my energy levels if I want to be even remotely competitive.0 -

The last 10 is always the hardest to lose. Do not get discouraged. In the past 4 months I have lost only about 2-3 lbs also and I am close to the end as well. Your body is close to the weight it wants to be and may be used to what you are doing... Try changing it up a bit. If you are currently doing a bunch of cardio, you may try strength training as a way to mix it up and confuse your body's system a little, or vise versa. I hope this helps.0

It's a little maddening, isn't it? Try tracking inches...i find it is much more satisfying and less susceptible to totally random and inexplicable change.
As far as numbers though, mine are almost exactly the same as yours.0 -

2 - Havent been doing this 4 months yet but 30 pounds in 80 days

I'll be 30 in 2 months and I have PCOS. I'm going to talk to my doctor next week to see if medication is an option as my PCOS symptoms have gotten worse.0 -

I am 7 lbs from goal and my body does NOT want to drop below 132 lbs. I've only seen the scale at 131.6 once and then it went back up to 132.something. I've been beginning to wonder if I will ever be able to break my barrier so thank you for this post because when I look back at my progress I can see that it may be slow but not QUITE as slow as it feels and there is still progress. Slow but steady wins the race, right?!0 -

Since March 08 (when I started logging on MFP): 34 lbs
Total: 64 since January
My current goal is 14 pounds away, but I'll probably adjust for another 10 after that. Then I'll decide where to go from there.0 -
4 weeks : gained 2 pounds
(have the flu, have cut out exercise and allowed myself to eat over calories until I feel normal enough to resume regular activity)
past 4 months: down 6 pounds
Rate of loss when first starting: 1.5 lb / week (1200 - 1400 calories, 4 x aerobic exercise / week)
Rate of loss at tail end of weight loss : 1 month plateau followed by .5 - .7 lb a week (1600 calories, 4 x aerobic 2 x weights / week)
Current weight: 3 - 4 from goal
Total lost: 57 pounds or so0 -
The problem is these figures won't tell you much and will be pretty meaningless as there are so many other variables such as the persons original weight, there sex, there overall health, there lifestyle such as job activity etc and so many other variables. You're better off concerntrtiong on what you are doing rather than what you think others are.0

I've only been doing this for a week, but I've lost 2 pounds since I started. I am trying to lose roughly 10 pounds. But keep in mind I have been, for the most part, super anal about calories, exercise and water consumption. Also I have been juicing with the nutri bullet and taking garcinia cambogia. So I'm not sure if this rate of weight loss is normal.0
