Hello All, I am new.

Hi Everyone,
I'm 23 and roughly 5'1. Almost 2 years ago I got a DVT (blood clot) that went from my hip to my ankle, I spent a month in a wheel chair and within 3 months had gained 50 lbs. Since recovering from my DVT I have tried to lose the weight without success. Every time I tried to do any real exercise I would pull a muscle, swimming for what ever reason has been very tough as well. I have been on myfitnesspal for around 2 weeks now and have lost about 11lbs and am trying a medical weight loss center w/ an appetite suppressant program. I have a 100lbs to lose so I'm in it for the long haul! Hope everyone else out there is succeeding with their goals. Feel free to contact me to give or get support

Weight loss is easier to control through your diet than with exercise. Just remember one day at a time and if you stumble remember that tomorrow is another day. Good luck and stick with it.
