Insanity: Decrease Calories on "Stretching days"

Hey,

I was just wondering during the first month of insanity, when you do the streching DVd and on days off, should I reducing my calories to 1200 or keeping them at 1800?

    Keep them at 1800. When doing these types of workouts, as long as you don't take a few days off in a row, your metabolism is boosted even on rest days. And if you think Insanity is crazy in that way, you should see what weight training does for your metabolism.

    It's hard to say without knowing your TDEE but I'd imagine 1800 calories isn't maintenance for you. In which case, I'd keep them at 1800 each day. You'll need that fuel for recovery and to have energy to do insanity in the following days :)

    I've been dropping my calories to around 1200-1500 on my days off/ stretch days :D
    Probably why I have had so little enegery
