Hello My name is Barbara

I am new to this site and have been on a low carb. This is actually week #4. I am excited because I have lost 15lbs so far. I have found that logging in my food intake and exercise has helped tremendously. It seems that I can't wait to log in my intake and see what I have done for the day. Next week I am going to introduce some other healthy foods into my diet so I don't gain all my weight back when I lose it and become a healthier person from using food as fuel and not a crutch which I had been doing. So thankful for this site. My dog Bo has been enjoying my excercises also because he has been walking a lot more. Hope everyone has a great day and keep up the good work.: :smile: smile:

    Hey. Souns like you are on the right track. I just joined here yesterday. I did Weight Watchers for a while, but could no longer afford it. I am eating healthier, and trying hard to only eat when I am hungry. One other battle is I eat to fast. I have learned to eat while playing a game on the computer or iPad. I take a bite and then play the one minute game. It is helping me to slow down, which in turn helps smaller portions to truly fill me up. Strange I know, but it is working for me.

    I am an Elementary Education student at FSU. I will graduate in December and am very excited about that. I am also a single mom. Good for me my son is very encouraging about eating healthy and exercising.
