Guitar strap. Sorry for the disappointment. :flowerforyou:

I play acoustic. I'm currently teaching my daughter on the electric. She's expressed that she doesn't like the kind of music I'm teaching her because it's not "loud" enough.

If you were going to play the electric, what song(s) would you learn? Any genre is welcome. And they can be more difficult songs; I'm very musically inclined and can alter music easily.

Mostly Offspring back when I was playing. All I Want and I Choose were fun to play. Not that I ever played well...

I wish I could do this:

sadly, i cannot play an instrument to save me...but i do love to sing and i LOVE music. i would definitely go with some classic rock songs...Stevie Ray Vaughan, Zepplin, Fleetwood Mac-lots of great guitar rifts to learn!

I recently heard a Clair de Lune by Claude Debussey rendition on the acoustic guitar, and it was AMAZING.

Just have to say your daughter is awesome!!!louder the better!

Not sure of the difficulty level on these but they are some of the ones friends play:

Def some Metallica- Fade to black, Unforgiven, One (of course), For Whom the Bell Tolls, Sad but true,
    Pantera- Walk
    AC/DC-Back in black
    Megadeth-Symphony of Destruction
    Volbeat-Still counting
Alice and chains-Man in the box
    Pearl Jam-Jeremy
    Nirvana-Come as you are
    Black Sabbath-Paranoid

I just listened to that and it was beautiful. I must put that on my list of songs to learn.

And to the PP (since I can't multi quote unless I'm on my computer), my daughter is pretty awesome. Some days in the car, she'll tell me to hook up her mp3 player to the radio, choose the music, and air drum or air guitar in the back while headbanging.
