I started using MFP over a year ago and go in spurts of using it. I do really well and lose weight and then I get off track and gain a few pounds back and stop losing. I feel like I don't have enough motivation/support and will power. I am tired of being fat, unhealthy and weak. I am approx 198lbs and 5'7". I had my daughter 19 months ago and weighed in at 263 the day I had her. I feel so stuck. I have been at the same weight for 6 months give or take a few pounds. I feel like crap constantly and my mood fluctuates like crazy when I eat crappy. I am addicted to food I swear! Sugar, soda, ice cream, alcohol. All the crap that I shouldn't have and I don't know how to just say NO. I don't even really know why I am posting this because I know its my own fault and I need to just "woman up" and stop but I have such a hard time saying no to the sweets. Any help, motivation, suggestions.. anything to help me out would be awesome. I am so tired of being 22 and fat. I hate not being able to do things other people do. My boyfriend is a bean pole and I feel like a whale next to him. Hes 5'10 and 150... Its not cool. I want to be a hot mom not a fat mom lol.

That is a really awesome link adini. lol.
Anywho.
Not a whole lot other people can do for you, as this is something you have to dig deep and decide if tomorrow or next week is better to start the rest of your life, or if right now, this very second, is the moment in which you have chosen to live the way you want.
First thing that started me going again after my life blew up last year... was getting rid of all those stupid negative thoughts that were dragging me down. No more "if only I had started sooner, I would be X amount of pounds by now", "why did I let it get to this point?" "how did I throw all that hard work away?" None of that matters anymore, you are where you are right now, and its either time to change or it isn't. We all have it in us. Stay, log, learn, fight for your life.0 -
WOW! Seriously, thank you! Exactly what I needed to read.0

First off, sexy is about how you feel and carry yourself nit about how you look. When you see yourself as the terrific person you are you feel more comfortable in your own skin.
It takes 21 days to change a behavior so pick one thing you do with food such as eliminate soda and concentrate on just that for 3-4 weeks and master it then pick another one till you beat them all. Ask yopurself if that mouthfull will get you closer to your goal or further away and make a chioce....even a bad choice is a choice!
Now pick 3 healthy foods you like and keep them in you food plan every day,,,that will give you 5 good food choices a day. Add more healthy foods as you g along.
I also have a hard time being motivated, friend me and we can do this together!!
It may be slow but you can do it and show your daughter what a strong healthy person you are!!!
P.S. DRINK BUCKETFULS OF WATER!!0
