peanut butter is not listed in the nutrition guide so I'm not sure exactly what to count a serving on the portions plan.

Would that be 1 T is one serving, or 2T - if 1 serving of protein is about 130cal I can just do 130 cals of PB at about 1.5T.

And don't come and tell me - it's not on the plan, you shouldn't be eating it, because unless you want to pay for me to be able to afford to eat that much meat (even on sale there's no way) I don't want to hear it.

  • I don't know about P90X peanut butter, but I do know that the serving size for Jiffy is 2Tbsp. Its about enough to make a somewhat decent 1/2 sandwich. Hope this helps.

Yes, my dear... Peanut Butter is listed under the Snacks. The serving would be 1 Tablespoon.

I buy the Naturally More brand at Walmart. Is the lowest I have found on calories and fat. Since it is under Snack, you don't count it towards your proteins or your fat or any of the others... Snacks are bonus... All you have to do is count the calories.

I need to count it toward my protein though. i only get 1 snack a day and using PB for that is not going to get me to the protein level I need. I imagine about 1/4 of my protein is going to need to come from PB if I am going to afford the diet, then about 1/2 from eggs, and the remaining 1/4 from meat (tuna). Otherwise I will have to cut down to a higher carb diet.
