Do you do anything different with your workout routine?

    I do the same for lifting, the only thing I change is I don't do yoga. for some reason yoga makes me cramp up bad...but lifting heavy doesn't.

    If my cramps are particularly bad, I tailor my workout to what I feel up to. But usually it is a non-issue.

    in general, no, i don't. if i really feel tired, i'll lower the intensity, but i still go to the gym. i can't lift as much during my period, i think because my hormones are out of whack.

    i thought about it once, and if i took it easy all week, every month, that's 25% less training a month. that adds up over a year.

    I don't do abs on days when I'm cramping. Lifting doesn't bother me and yoga actually helps. Running is out sometimes, depending on how I'm feeling. My cramps can be a biotch though!

    And for the topic, the only thing I do is up my water intake, wear comfy pants and increase my calories by 200. Keeps me tolerable and junk.. Real World. ;)

    I don't change anything other than my yoga. They say not to do any inverted poses when you are on your period. And if I'm tired, I might do a lighter workout. That's about it, though.

    I don't work out on my very heavy days simply because being sweaty AND bloody just sounds gross :/
  • if i want i exercise or i rest as well today for example i rest it's just up to my mood but even my cramps are not strong and i always exercised.

    no i never workout on my periods. i genuinely feel that u should give ur body rest at this time, at least for 3 days. this is time to pamper ur body

    No. I do not do anything different during the time of the month. Because I do Insanity with my hybrid program, I do tend to be a little slower while doing it though. I seriously cannot coordinate my feet correctly during the TOM. I always feel like I will sprain an ankle if I work out as hard as I do when its not the TOM.
