I was having my regular pre-work dance party in the car this morning (I do this on a pretty regular basis, makes my day start out on a great note) and today's song of choice was Beyonce "Get Me Bodied." I challenge you not to dance when you hear that song. It's ridiculous and I love it.

    Run by Leona Lewis

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqpAgMxhx30

    Lyrics:

I'll sing it one last time for you
Then we really have to go
You've been the only thing that's right
    In all I've done

And I can barely look at you
But every single time I do
I know we'll make it anywhere
    Away from here

    Light up, light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you, dear

    Louder, louder
And we'll run for our lives
I can hardly speak, I understand
Why you can't raise your voice to say

To think I might not see those eyes
Makes it so hard not to cry
And as we say our long goodbyes
    I nearly do

    Light up, light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you, dear

    Louder, louder
And we'll run for our lives
I can hardly speak, I understand
Why you can't raise your voice to say

    Light up, light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you, dear

    Louder, louder
And we'll run for our lives
I can hardly speak, I understand
Why you can't raise your voice to say

My husband (and my STILL best friend) and I have been separated for a year and 18 days. It hits me pretty hard- along with a thousand others. I've had to quit listening to the radio or I end up hyperventilating and having to pull over because I can't see through the tears. I also do NOT like for my girls to see me cry over a man, so we listen to the iPod a LOT. Cheery pop music and Michael Jackson and The Beetles, lol.
