MFP has my goal as less than my BMR?

I am 18 years old, 5'6, and 160 pounds. I calculated my BMR on a few sites and got around 1600 each time. I put my activity level as lightly active, and MFP still has my goal as 1560? Is that correct or should I be eating more, since I burn calories doing daily activities? I calculate my exercise calories and eat those back but I do have a lightly active life at home/work on top of the exercise I do. I put MFP goal as lose 1 pound per week.

MFP has your goal at 1560 PLUS exercise calories. So with just a little exercise you'll be up over 1600 easily.
But MFP is not the boss of you. If you want to up your calories just go into settings and put a higher number.0 -
Using the MFP BMR tool I got:
Your estimated BMR is: 1,522 calories/day for your stats.
I think 1500 + eating your exercise calories is just right.
If you really feel you're more active than normal during the day, 1600 + exercise calories would probably be fine too. Try one, adjust depending on how you feel and how your weight loss is going.0 -
